Jesper Dahlgaard, Chair (DEGN) & Nordic Director of Digital Sale (Nordisk Film) said: “We’re excited to bring Mega Movie Week back for its third edition in 2025, a milestone that reflects the growth and enthusiasm of this initiative. With the recently published DEGI and DEGN Nordic Market Overview report highlighting opportunities in the digital transactional market, our focus on EST ownership is more important than ever, giving audiences the chance to purchase the latest titles. This campaign is a fantastic example of local collaboration, and we are excited to continue building on this momentum with more campaigns to come, driving engagement and growth across the region.”

Liz Bales, Chief Executive at DEGI: The Digital Entertainment Group International added: “We are delighted to see Mega Movie Week return, building on the success of our previous campaigns across both EST and VOD. Through the collaboration between both local and international partners, the campaign allows for a diverse and compelling selection of titles across all genres, not only highlighting the strength of the category across the Nordic digital transactional landscape, but also the convenience and accessibility for audiences to buy their favourite films and enjoy them again and again.”

DEGN was set up in 2018 in conjunction with DEGI to enable cross-industry collaboration in a compliant environment to drive digital growth for the whole Nordic sector. DEGI works across multiple territories internationally to promote education, collaboration, networking and community.
