Mega Movie Week returns to the Nordics with 10 days of fantastic film deals

Movie lovers across the Nordics can buy a selection of the latest and greatest local and international films on digital at amazing prices from the 18th to 27th of September!

18th September 2026: Today, the Digital Entertainment Group: Nordic (DEGN) has announced the return of Mega Movie Week, offering film lovers across Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland the chance to add to their collections with a great range titles at fantastic prices for the next 10 days (Friday 18th to Sunday 27th September).

Building on the success and momentum of previous campaigns, the latest Mega Movie Week focuses on films available to buy on EST (Electronic Sell-Through). The last EST edition, held in October 2025, showcased an impressive 434% volume uplift versus the previous period.

Mega Movie Week includes a wide range of must-see movies at great prices across nine major retailers: Altibox, Amazon Prime Video, the Apple TV app, Blockbuster, Rakuten TV, SF Anytime, Telia, TV2 and Viaplay (some retailers only in certain regions). The campaign is supported by major film distributors including Nordisk Film, Paramount Pictures, Scanbox Entertainment, SF Studios, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, The Walt Disney Company and Warner Bros. Discovery.

Consumers can choose from a wide range of titles to add to their collections, from local films to the latest Hollywood hits, including:

Mega Movie Week’s compelling choice of titles is designed to engage new and returning customers alike. Whether a consumer is making a digital purchase for the first time or continuing to build out their existing collection, the initiative highlights the ease, value and convenience of buying movies to enjoy again and again from the comfort of home.

This edition will be supported by a wide-reaching media campaign across Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland, including a partnership with Swedish industry giant Aftonbladet, digital out-of-home advertising in central Copenhagen, Google search engine marketing, and prime placements across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube highlighting the offers.

Mega Movie Week will return to the Nordics from the 12th to 21st February 2027.
